What I Do at Work
26 05 2008This post is a little bit geeky, but I’ll try to keep the language simple.
For the last couple of months I’ve been working on some cool technology; Provisioning Server. At the place I work we use Citrix technologies a lot, we started with Citrix Presentation Server and now we’ve expanded the product range, and I must tell you, it’s all really cool stuff.
Provisioning Server is brainchild of a company called Ardence, which was acquired by Citrix in late 2006. The idea behind this is to be able to boot any workstation or server with any OS or same OS but different configuration without having to install it on each workstation/server.
Check out this demonstration video:
If you want to know a little bit more about this, let me know.
